Bespoke Bridge Courses

Initially developed in conjunction with several leading shipping’s companies procedures and `best practice` to assist in the introduction of new bridge procedures and manning levels, it includes a mixture of time in our new Full Mission Simulator and human elements-focused lectures designed to meet an individual company’s requirements for their bridge teams over the period of a 5 day BTM course, but tailored to your operating area and ship model (port development may be required, please see port creation).

The course will be designed to work in conjunction with your company to provide the most realistic and valuable training we can, whilst assuring that the standards you require are the ones that we will be teaching. An outline
schedule of the course is drafted, but any and all elements can be changed to better suit your requirements.

Every company has different areas they would like to focus on, whether it is Man Overboard training, Manning Level transitions or basic teamwork – some guidelines from you as to what specific elements you would like emphasised would be very helpful. If you have more than one bridge crew requiring the course, we can tailor each course to suit any particular areas you may wish that team to work on.

The team is normally assessed from arrival until the end of the simulator training. We provide feedback on progress from an early stage, including pointers on what areas they may wish to work on, and each team has a final numerical assessment that can be provided to you along with a short summary of performance.
