Built in almost complete silence at the Yachtley shipyard in Kocaeli, Turkey and launched under just as much secrecy in July this year is the 80-metre superyacht Elements. Here we get a first look inside Turkey’s largest yacht ever built, and the largest yacht of her kind in the world.
At 2950 GT, Yachtley and designer Alpha Marine didn’t hold anything back in terms of size and making sure that Elements is the biggest possible yacht that she could be (within the 3000 GT constraints). The sheer volume, therefore, made perfect sense to set up the interior according to SOLAS’s requirements to carry up to 24 guests. The ability to carry twice as many guests as other yachts in her size range makes Elements ideal for charter.
It was up to designer Cristiano Gatto to create Elements‘ interior spaces. An art-deco oriental theme was decided on which now fills the guest areas with shades of gold, ebony, ivory and sparkling precious stones. A grand spiralling staircase connects the four guest decks over which nine guest cabins, a VIP stateroom and the private owner’s suite is spread.
The owner’s suite forward on the upper deck overlooks the foredeck where a private helipad awaits and a large swimming pool that offers magnificent views from this height.
High-gloss surfaces are used throughout the interior, creating an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere.
One of the most impressive features of the yacht is her cruising capabilities. With both MTU engines running at full speed, Elements can cover a distance of 4,700 nm at 18.4 knots. Slow down to a more comfortable 13 knots, and no destination is too far with an incredible 10,000 nm without a single fuel stop required.
